Joel Oliver & Hannah Frazier

Joel Oliver Utrera joined the L'Arcada ministry team in June 2023 as the Discipleship Programs Coordinator. His mission is to guide, train, and accompany young people between the ages of 12 and 17, preparing them not only to be part of the L'Arcada summer team, but also to become valuable tools for the future of the church in Spain.

His connection with L'Arcada began in 2015, when he attended as a teenage camper and went through the same programs he coordinates today. During the summers, he volunteered and, over time, deepened his commitment to the ministry. As his passion for youth ministry continued to grow, Joel trained in various sports disciplines like mountaineering and team sports. In 2019, he decided to take a step further and enrolled in the IBSTE Biblical Seminary, convinced that his calling was to impact the lives of young people. As soon as he graduated, he began his work at L'Arcada.

Hannah works on staff as Multimedia Coordinator at L’Arcada. She also assists Joel with the camp’s discipleship programs.

The Lord began the work of calling her to Spain when she started serving with L’Arcada as a volunteer in 2014 at the age of 16. For 10 years she dreamed of living and using her creative gifts for ministry in Spain. She studied Intercultural Studies and Photography at John Brown University to prepare for overseas work. After a few years, the Lord finally opened the door when Anna Romeu invited her to come on full-time staff. In April of 2025, she and Joel were married in Dallas, TX, and 5 days later she moved to Spain.

Hannah's heart is for the Spanish youth who are seeking the hope of a gospel they most likely haven’t heard. She uses her camera and the media arts as a bridge to share the unconditional love of Jesus.
