Discipleship
Meraki is a word of Greek origin that means that whatever you do, you should do it with the greatest passion and creativity, leaving a mark — and all for the glory of God. So the basic foundation for these 12–13-year-old teenagers is passion for Jesus and the things that belong to Him: the Church, the Bible, ministry, and people.
Those who don’t live to serve are not fit to live." Jesus is the greatest example of service we have in our lives. Throughout the entire New Testament, Jesus teaches through His life how we must be servants who willingly help others. With the 14–15-year-old teenagers, we aim to help them understand that following Jesus means serving the world through the most ordinary and simple things.
Fev means “Summer Team Training” in Spanish. We strive to provide both biblical and camp-focused training so that these 16–17-year-olds can become the future summer team of L'Arcada. Our goal is for them to be able to share the gospel, defend their faith, and discover their spiritual gifts so they can understand what God wants from them in His Kingdom.
