Caleb Project

Heavy rains send water rushing from the mountain into the camp, causing flooding and damage. We are launching a project to divert the water before it reaches the main site, protecting our facilities and ensuring activities can continue safely—trusting God’s provision with the faith of Caleb (Numbers 13:30).

At L’Arcada, one of our greatest challenges during the rainy season is the flooding caused when water rushes down from the mountain and into the camp. This overflow damages our facilities, disrupts activities, and risks the safety of our infrastructure. To protect the camp, we must build a system that diverts the rainwater before it reaches the main site, ensuring all buildings, utilities, and activity areas remain safe and dry.

This is no small project—it will require significant funding, planning, and dedication. Yet, we face it with the faith of Caleb, who, when seeing the promised land, focused not on the giants but on God’s promise of a land flowing with milk and honey (Numbers 13:30). We believe that with God’s help and the support of our community, this vision will become a reality, allowing L’Arcada to continue welcoming and serving others without fear of flooding.
